Neural circuit dissection by cells and synapses during cognitive learning
9 October 2023
Colloquium by Prof. Hyungbae Kwon, Johns Hopkins University, USA
Abstract:
Our laboratory investigates how learning is represented in neuronal population. In this talk,
I will present how the degree and directionality of functional connectivity is influenced by
neuronal activity, neuromodulators, or inhibition in awake behaving animals. Projects are
related to address cellular underpinnings of functional microcircuit reorganization in
mammalian brain, and monitoring real-time neural activity during the formation of
contextual memory and how it is coupled to action
The talk is the 15th HCNS Lecture, organized by the Hamburg Center of Neuroscience.
Date and time: 09.10.2023 17:00, Seminar room ZMNH, UKE, Hamburg
