Project B4 - Brain dynamics of crossmodal learning and conflict processing
PIs: Prof. Dr. Xun Liu, Dr. Guido Nolte
The primary goal of project B4 is to estimate specific network features that enable crossmodal learning and conflict processing, using behavioural, EEG, MEG and fMRI recordings. Specifically, the project aims to (1) examine how multimodal sensory information is integrated by learning from a bottom-up perspective; (2) examine the role of top-down executive control in resolution of crossmodal conflicts and adaptive reversal learning; and (3) identify brain dynamic features that are specifically relevant during learning of multimodal integration as well as periods and brain patterns of high learning performance.
